One-on-One Driving Lessons
Driving lessons can be purchased individually or bundled into packages, your time is not shared with other students, one student to one coach. Each lesson is 90 minutes in length, so a 3-Hour Package includes two lessons, a 6-Hour Package includes four lessons, and so forth.
Practice Hours Packages
These packages are designed to be combined with our Graduated Licensing Program to meet with the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) recommended total hours of practice.
Servicing Vancouver, Kelowna, and Victoria
Whether you need driving lessons in North Vancouver, Maple Ridge or another municipality in Greater Vancouver, Kelowna, or Victoria, we can help. Students are either picked up at home or school for lessons, or an alternate meeting point, if your residence is out of our service area. We conduct lessons throughout the city in areas suitable for your level of experience – from first-timers to more experienced drivers. Lessons do not follow a pre-determined curriculum or follow a road test route – each lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs and experience level.
ICBC Standard Recommended Practice Hours
48 HOURS
This package is for new drivers who have limited opportunity to practice with a co-driver. If it’s added to a Graduated Licensing Program, course you’ll have the total of 60 behind-the-wheel practice hours that ICBC recommends you have before challenging your “N” road test.
Consists of 32 lessons for a total of 48 hours.
Research-based 120 Hours Practice Program
108 HOURS
Independent research shows that doubling ICBC’s recommended 60 hours practice can reduce a new driver’s crash risk by 40% (Gregersen, 2000). Although 120 hours may seem like a major commitment, only about 2 hours per week are needed to achieve this high standard over the course of a year, after the 12 hours included in our GLP program.
When added to our Graduated Licensing Program, this package offers a total of 120 behind-the-wheel practice hours.
Consists of 72 lessons for a total of 108 hours.
